Classic Tub Repairs was founded by state-licensed contractor Tim Geary in 1989. While the industry focused only on “almond” or “white” countertops, we pioneered custom, stone-inspired finishes, an idea once dismissed that ultimately became the industry standard.

Sold in 2016 and brought back into the family in 2025, the company is now owned and operated by Tim and his son-in-law, contractor Stephen Blank. Classic Tub Repairs refinished a deep soaking tub in my house. The tub had been previously refinished (I'm guessing during an '80's expansion to the house) by an unknown refinisher and was peeling and flaking. My tub is now beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased. The tech was on-time, professional, didn't leave any mess, and explained the process and after care of the tub. He missed a small spot on the first pass. I called, and Classic offered to have him out there the next day to fix, no questions asked. After fixing the missed spot, it's not possible to see where it was on the first pass. I was beyond happy with the results. I don't expect the tub to last more that 5-10 years given that a refinished tub isn't as tough as a new tub, but it saved my having to rip out the surrounding tile to replace.
